Jewels of Cthulu

I am in the mood for jewelry based on the Cthulu mythos! Let’s open the crypt and see what lies within…
Enh; Baldai's fanservice fan-jewelry doesn't go much beyond Cthulu.
Now we're cooking with shoggoths - Steampunk-Lovecraft mythos pieces with great blurbs and secret compartments.
The closest thing I’ve found to the strange jewels described by Lovecraft himself.
Plus this tour of Lovecraft’s New England made me a little homesick. Just a little.
Also, the mid-thirties WTF – it’s really a “thrisis”. Harrumph. I like “WTF” better.

Date: 2008-04-09 05:13 am (UTC)The Lovecraft's New England tour made me nostalgic too - I used to live with a man from Marblehead who actually grew up in one of the 17th/18th century houses in the downtown part, near that alley with the steps and the burial ground. We did our own little Lovecrafty tour. I miss the way he was when he was there - he seemed to match the landscape there in a way he never did in Chicago.
