It's My Birthday Too

My low-key birthday has gone well. First thing in the morning, I spoke with my stepmother. This was, as always, a colorful and alarming experience. Then, a knock on the door brought the postman with a present from _aayesha_ - two ravishing Paula Dorf lipsticks! One of these, Gilda, was so irresistible that I wore it to a meeting with a freelance client this morning. They liked everything I had done and agreed with everything I said. -sigh of relief- There has been a luscious Italian lunch. There has been a new gym outfit, a new gym bag, and a session scheduled for my car at the body shop. Now, I have an evening off from freelance work, and my favorite leftover Chinese food. Life is good.

A Theoretical Situation

Let us say that, hypothetically, you do some freelance work on the side. A pleased client has recommended you to a professional associate who needs some of the same work done. The professional associate is a member of a religious group/quasi-cult you find distasteful and unethical. However, it is likely that you can do this work without meeting the religious-group-member client in person. Working for this client is likely to generate a lot more work with this client.
