LOLCat News
Feb. 15th, 2010 11:02 amLast night, dinner with my LOL. She was very concerned about her cat, Tyger. Tyger hadn't been eating for three days and had installed himself on her lap, wailing in protest if he was jostled or moved. She had taken him to the vet and they'd identified a sore spot on his side. While I was there, Tyger clung ferociously to the LOL, even wedging himself on the chair when we did computer stuff. He had sniffed at fragments of bacon and tender chicken from our dinner, and mouthed them, but he didn't actually eat them.
This morning Tyger was much worse, and she took him to the vet again. This time, he was diagnosed with a serious kidney ailment, and put down.
Oh, poor Tyger. He enjoyed it when I petted him last night, but all his adoration was for the LOL.
I'm going over tonight. She's already talking about another cat from the Cats' Protection center up in Pukerua Bay, because having had one for a while, she doesn't want to be without one again.
