Setting The Alarm

ferlingheti, in her art deco apartment in the sky. Double thanks to everyone who was so helpful and patient as I trembled my way down the vertiginous stairs!
I'm doing that thing again. That thing where I work out and eat in certain ways to change my shape and health. Spent some time examining my schedule, and I am going to try to get up early in the morning 3 days a week, rain or shine, to fit in more exercise than I've been doing. We'll see how that goes. Two Pilates classes a week at the new gym are already having the effect of nature's corset.
I always say "The fitness thing takes as much energy as a part time job", and when I say that, I include 2 hours for healthy food shopping and cooking. Right now I am roasting some butternut squash and Portugese spiced chicken drumsticks to have for lunch this week, with steamed green beans.
