Day of Yay
Aug. 4th, 2008 10:20 pmNot only is my car not leaking any more, it is now dry. And, after a chat with the amiable young men who own the body shop that made it so, I am doing a small web site for them, and they will fix my car's Bumpers of Driving Shame for me.
Also, my novel is off to a Very Significant Reader, and after she and I have a discussion later this week, it's time to throw the submission-to-publishers dice. Here's hoping I've gotten really good at submitting...
Oh, Pauline Baynes, the fantasy illustrator, is dead at 86. Sad, but I picture her standing in some misty glade of limbo, luxuriously choosing between Narnia and Eldamar for her afterlife.
