Nov. 16th, 2007 02:43 pmNovember 2007 will forever live in my memory as the month all my spare time was subsumed reading Neal Stephenson. A friend of mine lent me the crack Cryptonomicon and The Baroque Series - four volumes, each as thick and irresistible as a fudge sheet cake. I'd say "Why can't all books be like this?" except that part of the answer is "Because I would never leave the house again." His personal web site is here - watch out for the Flash splash page.
