snottygrrl - I don't know if I made her feel better about Life Stuff, but she made me feel better. Afternoon beverages with baadbard. Dinner with sazabhadri and other delightful folks. All along the way, I acquired cat food, cat litter, plane reading material...
Today: so busy too. I've already spoken with two people on the phone re: trip stuff, including setting up a meeting withr_ness in NYC. I have to mow my lawn. But I have already done the far more onerous task of bagging up a vast decomposing pile of ecologically incorrect weeds. And tonight, I get to pack and clean house. It's this sort of thing that makes sitting on a plane for 12 hours not so bad.
