Touche! and, second viewing

This year for the holidays, after a profoundly awful visit with my father back in May, I sent him the present of an art criticism essay anthology titled Nothing If Not Critical. (He does like art.) His gift to me? A pair of fur-trimmed, Thinsulate-lined gloves (just what I need in midsummer Auckland) and...a rhinestone American flag pin! With a gift tag that reads "Wear it with pride." I'll wear it...for a full day... IF somebody besides Bush wins the upcoming U.S. election. In fact, I'll dress up in red, white, and blue from head to toe, to boot. And post pictures.
