Angry Women
Mar. 27th, 2003 09:54 pmOffline again yesterday, I wrote, and also read an old book of mine, Angry Women. This book was written over ten years ago, during the Gulf War, and it was intriguing to read all these ferocious feminist Gulf War observations that might have been written, literally, today, all the comments about Bush and Saddam. I remember the opinions and the protests from that time, but it was good to catch up with the voices, the details, and what Annie Sprinkle and Susie Bright and bell hooks had to say at that time.
On an LOTR note, all right, I give in, I'll drive down some weekend soonish and take the Hobbiton tour. Probably after I go to the Armageddon Pop Culture Expo in Auckland. This is where I missed meeting Lawrence Maokare last year, by the way.
I have online access from home again. Off to catch up.
