Excuse me while I kvell

Gave my presentation at the conference today and...it rocked. Despite being mealy-mouthed and stumbling in my practice session last night. Two particular compliments: "I was going to skip this and go shopping and I only stayed because you were right before lunch. And you turned out to be great!" and "You have such a lovely clear voice." The last one is so Mary Sue.

I tried to buy Cyberabad Days as a I-survived treat, but I couldn't bring myself to part with three times the book's US cover price in Australian dollars. So I had a hot chocolate instead.

Off to keel over now.
